Bronwen and Andy chose to have their wedding day at the beautiful Bear Hotel which is a popular and historic venue for weddings in Cowbridge. Originally a coaching inn in the 12th century, it has since been renovated into a luxurious hotel with beautiful gardens and a stunning courtyard. This makes it the perfect location for weddings, with plenty of picturesque backdrops for the newlyweds to capture their special day.
This was a very special day for all those involved as the couple had a lot of family over from America as this is where Andy had grown up but South Wales is where he had found his home and his life love, Bronwen. The day was full of high quality celebrating thanks to The Bear Hotel's locally sourced cuisine and the couple's great taste in music.
After their ceremony we ventured over to the iconic Cowbridge Psysic Garden for formal and couple's photographs. The gardens provide a beautiful backdrop and we managed to capture a few on the way back of some of the town's medieval buildings.
For couples who want to venture outside of the hotel, Cowbridge has plenty of photogenic spots to offer. The town is known for its quaint streets lined with colourful buildings, making for a charming and unique backdrop for wedding photos. The nearby countryside also offers stunning views and rolling hills, perfect for capturing the beauty of the Welsh landscape.
It was a perfect, laid back, autumnal day and everything you could wish for from a once in a lifetime event.
