Jenny & Gareth’s Wedding in Llanwrtyd Wells

Jenny and Gareth’s wedding in Llanwrtyd Wells was such a lovely day to be part of.

It was one of those weddings where everything just felt really relaxed and laid back. There were plenty of laughs, lots of happy tears and, most importantly, two people who were clearly very happy to finally be getting married.

Photographing weddings in Mid Wales always feels quite epic, and Llanwrtyd Wells gave us some stunning places to head out for a few photos during the day. We managed to sneak away for a little while, which as well as capturing some scenic shots, gave Jenny and Gareth a chance to have some time together away from everyone else.

I try not to keep couples away from their guests for too long, so most of the day was spent just photographing things as they happened. The little moments, the laughs, the hugs and all the bits that you don't necessarily notice at the time but are great to look back on afterwards. And that's what wedding photography is all about. Not making everything look perfect or spending hours posing people, but capturing the day as it actually unfolds and giving couples photographs that bring back all the memories.
